How old can I start my child in Gurukul?

Children can begin our dance classes between 4 and 5 years old. They should be able to identify their rights and lefts.

Does my child have to start in Kathak?

We at Gurukul believe in dance education starting in classical dance. Classical arts are able to give a systematic way of learning to students, which makes it easier on the student. Classical dance gives a chance for students to perfect the smallest movements and gain control of their body as they learn dance.

Students who learn Kathak also perform Bollywood at other shows during the year. Contact us to learn more.

I am a working adult/busy parent, is it still possible for me to learn dance?

Absolutely! Dance is a perfect way to work out, bring calmness into your daily life, and meet people who are in the same boat as you! We have different class options to help fit your schedule and an incredible encouraging community of adult students ready to welcome you.
